Ooh la la! The French have really nailed it with this versatile syrup. As though the aroma and palette of toasted marshmallows is not enough, this syrup is incredibly délicieuse on it's own (yes, I sneakily have a sip or 2 in our little sample glasses), in a cocktail, drizzled over ice cream or drizzle (1 Tablespoon) in a glass of sparkling white.
These syrups are high in sweetness and flavor - so need to be diluted to suit your taste (generally 1 part 1883 syrup to 8 or 9 parts other beverage).
